Pro and licenses

Turning on Pro and moving it between devices

I bought Pizazoo for Mac. How do I turn on Pro on my iPhone or iPad?

Your Mac purchase already includes Pro on iPhone and iPad. There is nothing extra to buy.

  1. Open Pizazoo on your iPhone and go to Settings > Pizazoo Pro.
  2. Under Already bought Pizazoo?, tap Get my key, enter the email you used to buy Pizazoo and tap Email me a code.
  3. Copy the code from the email, paste it into the app and tap Restore Pro. The code works for 15 minutes.

If you have your license key handy, tap Enter key instead and type your email and the key from your purchase email.

How do I restore my license on a Mac?

Open Pizazoo on your Mac, go to Settings > License and choose Send me a restore code. Enter the email you used to buy Pizazoo, then paste the code from the email. If you prefer, choose Use a license key instead and enter the key from your purchase email.

I bought Pro in the App Store and got a new iPhone. How do I move it?

On the new iPhone, open Settings > Pizazoo Pro and tap Restore Purchases, signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with. If a seat is free, Pro turns on right away. If all your seats are in use, Pizazoo asks before moving Pro from the device that used it least recently. Seats can be moved a few times a month.

How many devices can I use, and how do I free up a seat?

Every plan includes the same number of iPhone or iPad seats as Mac seats, and they are counted separately, so using Pro on your iPhone never takes a Mac seat. A one-device plan covers one Mac plus one iPhone or iPad.

To free a seat, open Settings > License on a Mac (Active Devices) or Settings > Pizazoo Pro on an iPhone or iPad, and tap Remove next to the device you no longer use. You can also deactivate the device you are holding from the same screen.

It says "This device is still linked to another active Pizazoo license."

This device already has Pro from a different purchase. To keep using that one, restore it: use Get my key with the email of that purchase, or tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the Apple Account that bought it. Anything you bought in the App Store stays on your Apple Account, so nothing is lost.

Still stuck? Email [email protected] with the email addresses you bought with and we will sort it out.

How do I get a refund?

For a purchase made on pizazoo.com, see the Refund Policy or email us. Purchases made in the App Store are refunded by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

iCloud Sync

Keeping your Mac and iPhone in step

How do I sync my library between Mac and iPhone?

iCloud Sync is a Pro feature, so turn on Pro on each device first. Then, signed in to the same Apple Account on both, turn on iCloud Sync in Settings on your iPhone and on your Mac. Screenshots, tags, custom categories and saved searches sync through your own private iCloud, never through a Pizazoo server.

For the smoothest sync, keep both apps up to date (Pizazoo 1.0.9 or later on Mac, 1.0.4 or later on iPhone).

Some screenshots appear twice.

This could happen after reinstalling Pizazoo on a device. Update both apps to the latest version: Pizazoo now finds copies of the same screenshot and merges them automatically, keeping your favorites, tags, notes and categories.

How do I start over and delete my data from iCloud?

Open Settings > iCloud Sync on either device and, under Start Over, choose Delete iCloud Data. This removes your Pizazoo data from iCloud and turns sync off on all your devices. The screenshots already on each device stay where they are, and you can turn sync back on whenever you like.

Importing

Getting screenshots into Pizazoo

My screenshots are not showing up on iPhone.

Check that Pizazoo can see your photos in the iPhone Settings app, under Pizazoo > Photos. With Limited Access, Pizazoo only sees the photos you picked. Pizazoo brings in new screenshots when you open it, and you can bring in older ones from Settings > Import Screenshots from Photos in the app.

Screenshots on my Mac are not being organized.

Make sure Pizazoo is running (its icon is in the menu bar) and that Settings > Capture lists the folder your screenshots are saved to. Pizazoo works with the built-in screenshot tool and with apps like CleanShot X and Shottr, as long as they save into a folder it watches.

How do I uninstall Pizazoo?

Follow the steps in the FAQ. Your original screenshots stay untouched unless you turned on deleting originals after import.
