How it works
How to organize screenshots on iPad
- 01
Install Pizazoo from the App Store
It is one universal app, so the same free download runs on iPad and iPhone. It needs iPadOS 17 or later.
- 02
Allow photo access
Pizazoo reads the screenshots in your photo library on your iPad and sorts the backlog into categories. Take new ones as usual: top button plus a volume button, or swipe up from a bottom corner with Apple Pencil.
- 03
Find, mark up, and share
Search by any word on the screen, mark a screenshot up with Apple Pencil, then drag it into the app you are working in.

What Pizazoo does on iPad
A sidebar built for the bigger screen
On iPad, Library, Browse, and Settings live in a sidebar instead of a tab bar, so your categories and saved searches stay one tap away while you work.
Drag screenshots into other apps
Drag any screenshot from your library straight into Notes, Mail, Messages, Freeform, or any app that accepts images. Drop an image onto the Library to import it.
Apple Pencil markup
Draw, add arrows, numbered steps and text, spotlight or magnify a detail, and blur or black out anything private. Double-tap the Pencil to switch between your two most recent tools.
Search by the text inside
Every screenshot is read on your iPad, so typing a word you remember, like an order number or an error message, finds it. Nothing is uploaded.
Sorted automatically
On-device AI files each screenshot into a category such as Receipts, Chats, Code, or Travel, including the backlog already in your photo library.
Related screenshots
Open any screenshot to see visually similar ones with a match percentage, worked out on your iPad, then select the near-duplicates and clear them out together.
Same library as your iPhone and Mac
Optional iCloud Sync (Pro) keeps screenshots, tags, custom categories, and saved searches in step across iPad, iPhone, and Mac through your private iCloud.
Questions
Screenshot organizer for iPad: common questions
Is there a screenshot organizer app for iPad?
Yes. Pizazoo has a native iPad layout with a sidebar, drag and drop, and Apple Pencil markup. It sorts the screenshots in your photo library on-device and makes them searchable by the text inside them.
Is the iPad version a separate purchase?
No. Pizazoo is a universal app and free to download on iPad and iPhone. Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase: $14.99 for 1 device, $24.99 for 3, or $34.99 for 5. A Pizazoo for Mac purchase also includes Pro on iPhone and iPad.
Does Pizazoo upload my screenshots?
No. Categorization and text recognition run on your iPad. If you turn on iCloud Sync, your data moves only through your own private iCloud account; there is no Pizazoo server.
Can I use Apple Pencil to mark up screenshots?
Yes. The markup editor supports drawing, arrows, numbered steps, text, spotlight, magnify, and blur or black out. A double-tap on Apple Pencil switches between your two most recent tools.
Does it work with my iPhone and Mac?
Yes. Pizazoo runs on iPhone and iPad, and on Mac as a separate app. With iCloud Sync (Pro) turned on, the same library appears on all of them.
