macOS Preview can capture a signature too, but only inside Preview’s sandbox and tied to iCloud sync on a Mac with Touch ID. Pizazoo’s signature tool lives inside the markup editor, works on any screenshot or imported PDF page, and stays entirely on your Mac.

How to do it
- Open Markup on any screenshot. Open a screenshot in your library and choose Edit. The markup editor opens.
- Pick the Signature tool. Click Signature in the toolbar. The first time, Pizazoo asks you to draw your signature on the trackpad.
- Draw your signature. Press and draw with one finger on the trackpad. Tap any key to commit, Escape to redo. Pizazoo crops and saves the signature image to your library.
- Drop it onto the screenshot. Click where you want the signature to appear. Drag to reposition, drag corners to resize, use the opacity slider for a watermark effect.
- Save or export. Save writes the signed version into your library beside the original. Share sends it via macOS Share Sheet.

Where is my signature stored?
Inside the Pizazoo library on your Mac. It never syncs to iCloud and is never uploaded to any server.
Can I capture multiple signatures?
Yes. You can store as many as you want (e.g. full signature, initials, "void" stamp) and pick which to drop on a given screenshot.
Does it work on PDFs?
You can import a PDF page into Pizazoo as a screenshot, sign it, and export. Native multi-page PDF signing is on the roadmap.
How is this different from Preview’s signature?
Preview’s signatures live inside Preview and are tied to iCloud sync (with Touch ID) by default. Pizazoo’s signatures live in your local screenshot library and work on any screenshot, not just PDFs opened in Preview.
