macOS Preview can capture a signature too (trackpad, camera, or a nearby iPhone) and syncs signatures through iCloud Drive if you use it. Pizazoo’s signature tool lives inside the markup editor, works on any screenshot or image in your library, and stays entirely on your Mac.

How to do it
- Open Markup on any screenshot. Open a screenshot in your library (Return or Space opens the preview), then click Edit. The markup editor opens.
- Pick the Signature tool. Click Signature in the toolbar. The first time, Pizazoo asks you to draw your signature on the trackpad.
- Draw your signature. Sign with your trackpad or mouse in the New Signature window, give it a name, and click Save (Clear starts over). Pizazoo stores it on your Mac for reuse.
- Drop it onto the screenshot. Click where you want the signature to appear. Drag to reposition, drag corners to resize, use the opacity slider for a watermark effect.
- Save or export. Click Done to apply it. Pizazoo keeps the pristine original, so you can reopen the editor later and move or remove the signature. To keep both versions, open the Done menu and choose Save a copy. Share sends it via the macOS Share Sheet.

FAQ
Where is my signature stored?
In Pizazoo’s app data on your Mac (~/Library/Application Support/Pizazoo). It is not part of iCloud Sync and is never uploaded to any server.
Can I capture multiple signatures?
Yes. You can store as many as you want (e.g. full signature, initials, "void" stamp) and pick which to drop on a given screenshot.
Does it work on PDFs?
Not directly. Pizazoo imports images (PNG, JPEG, HEIC, TIFF, WebP and more), not PDFs. Export the page as an image first, then sign it in Pizazoo.
How is this different from Preview’s signature?
Preview’s signatures live in Preview’s PDF tools and sync through iCloud Drive if you use it. Pizazoo’s signatures are stored on your Mac and work on any screenshot, not just PDFs opened in Preview.
