Terms of Service

Terms for using the Pizazoo website and app.

Effective date: 24 March 2026. These terms explain how you may use the Pizazoo website, app, checkout flow, license tools, and support services.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Pizazoo website, the Pizazoo macOS application, and related purchase, license, and support services. By accessing the website, downloading the app, or purchasing a license, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the website or the app.

2. What Pizazoo provides

Pizazoo is a native macOS app designed to help you import, organize, search, and manage screenshots with a privacy-first local workflow.

The core app experience is intended to process your screenshot library on your Mac. The website and backend services are used for business operations such as checkout, license delivery, license restore, and support.

3. License and permitted use

When you purchase Pizazoo, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your own internal personal or business use, subject to the device limit and plan terms shown at checkout.

You may not resell, sublicense, rent, lease, redistribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative commercial distributions of Pizazoo except where applicable law clearly permits it despite this restriction.

4. Accounts, purchases, and billing

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for purchases made through our checkout flow. Purchase processing, taxes, billing workflows, and payment handling are subject to Paddle's systems and terms in addition to these terms.

To deliver and restore licenses, we may use the email address and purchase details associated with your order. You are responsible for providing accurate purchase information and for keeping access to your purchase email account.

5. License delivery, activation, and restore

After a successful purchase, Pizazoo may send you a license key or other entitlement information by email. You are responsible for storing that information securely.

We may offer license restore tools or support flows to help recover access to a valid purchase. We may limit or deny restore requests where we detect abuse, fraud, or activity inconsistent with the purchased plan.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Pizazoo or the website in a way that violates law, infringes another party's rights, interferes with service operations, attempts unauthorized access, or abuses checkout, licensing, restore, or support systems.

You may not use automated means to scrape, overload, probe, or disrupt the website or backend services except for reasonable indexing or access permitted by our public interfaces and applicable law.

7. Availability and changes

We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website, app, pricing, features, or support processes at any time. We may also release updates, bug fixes, or compatibility changes for the macOS app.

We aim to keep Pizazoo reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website, downloads, checkout flows, or support services.

8. Refunds

Refund requests, if available, are handled in the context of the payment flow and merchant-of-record process used for your purchase. Because Paddle is the merchant of record, parts of the refund workflow may be governed by Paddle's payment policies and operational requirements.

Nothing on this page limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under applicable law.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Pizazoo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app or website will be error-free, uninterrupted, fully secure, or compatible with every device, workflow, or macOS configuration.

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups and for reviewing the app before relying on it in critical workflows.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pizazoo and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, business, goodwill, or use arising from or related to your use of the website or app.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Pizazoo will not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable product in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the website, support systems, restore flows, or license-related services where we reasonably believe there is fraud, abuse, unlawful conduct, security risk, or a material violation of these terms.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute-related provisions, will survive.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we do, we will publish the updated version on this page and update the effective date below. Continued use of Pizazoo after updated terms are posted means you accept the updated terms.
